Join 2023 Brookside St. Patrick's Day Warm-Up Parade - Saturday March 11th at 2 pm, rain or shine. The parade is hosted by the Brookside Business Association and Community Improvement District and draws participants and spectators from around the metro. Organizations and businesses from our neighborhoods and across the metro enter the parade each year. It’s a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly event that you don’t want to miss!

Each year the Brookside Business Association selects a business owner or other contributor to the Brookside Shops to serve as the honorary Mr. and/or Mrs. Irish. This year’s honoree is Sandra Neumann, Owner, Brookside Gallery and Framing. “I’m so excited and honored. It’s awesome! It’s going to be so much fun. My cheeks will probably get tired from grinning and waiving. It will be fun.” We love Sandra “O’Neumann’s” enthusiasm! Save the Date for the 37th Brookside Art Annual to be held Friday, May 5th through Sunday, May 7th, 2023. Artist applications close at midnight, January 15th! The Brookside Art Annual is Kansas City’s first outdoor art show of the year, attracts a lot of buyers and arts enthusiasts, and is ranked amongst the best in the nation.
