Join us this Saturday, March 14th at 2pm, for the 44th Annual Brookside St. Patrick’s Warm-Up Parade, featuring Grand Marshal Graham Zusi and Honorary Irish Betty Bremser for a "Leprechaun Cup: Going for the Gold" celebration in the heart of Soccer City.Get ready to paint the town green—and gold! Join us for one of Kansas City’s favorite traditions: the 44th Annual Brookside St. Patrick’s Warm-Up Parade. On Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 2 pm, the historic Brookside Shops will transform into a vibrant celebration of community, Brookside history, and the beautiful game. Join Grand Marshal Graham Zusi, Honorary Irish Betty Bremser and nearly 100 parade entries. From traditional bagpipes and Irish dancers to classic cars, drill teams, and dog clubs, there is something to wow attendees of all ages.

Betty Bremser, 2026 Brookside St. Patrick's Day Warm-Up Parade Honorary Irish & Brookside Business Marshal has been synonymous with the heart of the Brookside business district. As the longtime owner of Foo’s Fabulous Frozen Custard, she has been the silent engine behind one of Kansas City’s most beloved traditions.We are thrilled to announce that Betty Bremser, the longtime heart and soul behind Foo’s Fabulous Frozen Custard, has been selected as the honorary business representative— Brookside’s Business Marshal / “Honorary Irish”—for the 2026 Brookside St. Patrick’s Warm-Up Parade! This year’s parade theme, "Leprechaun Cup: Going for the Gold," perfectly captures Betty’s decades-long commitment to excellence. For nearly 30 years, Betty has embodied a champion’s spirit, turning a small neighborhood shop into a premier Kansas City dessert destination through hard work and a passion for small business.
