Save the date for Brookside’s 2024 Women Owned Weekend celebration, Thursday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 6th. October is National Women’s Small Business month and Brookside is excited to celebrate the many amazing women-owned small businesses in the Brookside Shops during the 4th Annual WOW event. Did you know that nearly half of the businesses in Brookside are women owned and that several of our oldest, newest and most recognized businesses are women owned? Save the Date for the 39th Brookside Art Annual to be held Friday, May 2md through Sunday, May 4th, 2025. Artist applications for the show are now open! Apply by midnight December 15, 2024 for an early application discount. Applications close midnight, January 15, 2025! The Brookside Art Annual is Kansas City’s first outdoor art show of the year, attracts a lot of buyers and arts enthusiasts, and is ranked amongst the best in the nation. Apply online at
