A Brookside Halloween Tradition: Trick or Treat Street Returns October 31

Get ready for a spooktacular afternoon in Brookside! Brookside Trick or Treat Street returns Saturday, October 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. Families are invited to dress up in their Halloween best and head to the historic Brookside Shops for an afternoon of trick-or-treating, neighborhood fun and sweet memories.
Participating businesses throughout the Brookside Shops will be handing out candy to costumed trick-or-treaters, making it the perfect opportunity for little ghosts, goblins, superheroes and princesses to show off their costumes while enjoying one of Kansas City’s favorite neighborhoods. Bring the whole family, explore Brookside and enjoy a Halloween tradition that generations have grown up celebrating!
Trick or Treat Street is the Brookside Business Association’s way of giving back to the community that so generously supports our local businesses throughout the year. We’re grateful to the generations of families who have made this event part of their Halloween celebrations, to the participating businesses that help make the afternoon special, and to the many volunteers who help children safely cross streets at signalized intersections.
Their time and generosity help keep this beloved tradition going year after year. So grab your costumes, bring your trick-or-treat bags and join us for a hauntingly good time in Brookside. We can’t wait to see all the little monsters and magical creatures filling our streets!
