Patio Fest returns to Brookside on Thursday, June 11, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Enjoy free live music on sidewalks and restaurant patios throughout the historic Brookside Shops while participating retailers stay open late until 7:00 p.m. Stroll, shop, dine and enjoy a summer evening filled with great music, special offers and patio fun. The Brookside Sidewalk Sale returns July 9–11, 2026, featuring deep discounts, special merchandise, local artists, pop-up activities, and unique shopping experiences throughout Kansas City's favorite neighborhood shopping district. Visitors can explore locally owned businesses, enjoy great food and drinks, watch soccer matches, and discover one-of-a-kind treasures while experiencing Brookside's welcoming small-town atmosphere. On Saturday, July 11, shoppers can also take advantage of the free Brookside Shred Event from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. behind Jalapeño's, with secure document shredding provided by Shred-It.
