Get ready to paint the town green—and gold! Join us for one of Kansas City’s favorite traditions: the 44th Annual Brookside St. Patrick’s Warm-Up Parade. On Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 2 pm, the historic Brookside Shops will transform into a vibrant celebration of community, Brookside history, and the beautiful game. Join Grand Marshal Graham Zusi, Honorary Irish Betty Bremser and nearly 100 parade entries. From traditional bagpipes and Irish dancers to classic cars, drill teams, and dog clubs, there is something to wow attendees of all ages.

We are thrilled to announce that Betty Bremser, the longtime heart and soul behind Foo’s Fabulous Frozen Custard, has been selected as the honorary business representative— Brookside’s Business Marshal / “Honorary Irish”—for the 2026 Brookside St. Patrick’s Warm-Up Parade! This year’s parade theme, "Leprechaun Cup: Going for the Gold," perfectly captures Betty’s decades-long commitment to excellence. For nearly 30 years, Betty has embodied a champion’s spirit, turning a small neighborhood shop into a premier Kansas City dessert destination through hard work and a passion for small business. Congratulations!
A World-Class Leader gives the starting whistle at the Brookside Parade: Graham Zusi Named 2026 Grand Marshal The Brookside St. Patrick’s Warm-Up Parade is thrilled to announce that Graham Zusi, a legend of both the pitch and the community, will serve as the Grand Marshal for our 2026 celebration. This year’s parade theme, "Leprechaun Cup: Going for Gold," is a direct nod to the games arriving in Kansas City this summer. Graham Zusi embodies this "champion’s spirit" better than anyone.
