Brookside Placemaking Open House: Share Your Preferences for a Brighter Brookside
How should the Brookside Shops look and feel in the years ahead? First Washington invites Brookside businesses, neighbors, and community members to a Brookside Placemaking Open House on Monday, October 19, 2026 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Stop by to explore proposed designs for new signage, art installations, and other architectural features planned for that portion of the Brookside Shops between Wornall Road and Main Street, from 62nd Terrace to 63rd Street.
This open house is an opportunity to see the design alternatives First Washington has developed, share your opinions, and vote for your favorites. Your feedback will help inform the vision for this part of Brookside and how it can enhance and continue to reflect the character of Brookside.
