Artist applications for the 35th Brookside Art Annual are open through midnight, January 2, 2020! Apply here. The 2019 Art Annual is Friday, May 1st through Sunday, May 3rd and draws top artists from around the Country to historic and beautiful Brookside. The show is Kansas City’s first outdoor art show of the year, attracts a lot of buyers and arts enthusiasts, and is ranked among the best in the nation. You don't want to miss being part of this huge attraction so apply before January 2nd in one or more categories to be considered for the show.
Trick or Treat Street is on! We ain't afraid of no ghost, or cold weather! Yesterday's weather made us batty but we're still on for a spook-tacular good time from 4 to 6 pm. Consider us your us your primary Halloween stop before it gets dark and cold (and your little vampires get frost-bite)!
Stop by for a spell Thursday, October 31st from 4-6pm for an evening of family Halloween fun in the Brookside Shops. It's our Treat! Just dress up your little witches, ghosts, goblins, pirates, princesses and superheroes and bring them to Brookside to trick or treat from store to store. It's a great way to start Halloween night off right. We hope you'll make the annual Brookside Trick or Treat Street part of your Halloween tradition. 
Cheers to 100 years! Stroll through Brookside, sip wine samples in-store, and shop at local businesses Thursday, September 26th, 5 to 7pm at the 2019 Brookside Sip & Shop. Enjoy a variety of wine samples at participating businesses throughout the historic Brookside Shops for this special shopping and wine tasting event. After the Sip & Shop, grab dinner at participating Brookside restaurants who are offering food and drink specials. Arrive at 5 and you might receive one of the 100 commemorative wine glasses!
