The historic Brookside shops (63rd and Brookside Boulevard) are celebrating the start of the 2020 holiday season Thursday, November 12th through Sunday, November 15th with the annual Brookside Holiday Season Opener—a free, family-friendly event with holiday sales, pop-up events, food and drink specials, music and giveaways. Whether you're looking for early holiday specials, finding something for that hard to shop for person, looking for a great place to eat and grab a drink, take food to go, or just in a festive mood and exploring, the Holiday Season Opener has something for everyone! Due to COVID-19 things look a little different this year, but thanks to extra precautions from our hard-working small businesses, there is something for everyone whether you stop by or support businesses online.
New this year, the promotions kick-off Thursday morning at 10 am and run through 7 pm (check individual businesses for hours) with specials and pop-ups at participating stores and restaurants. From 5:30 to 6:30 pm Thursday, enjoy live music from the Holiday Trombones on the Bank Midwest Plaza next to 6246 Brookside Plaza, with the tree lighting at 6 pm!
Can't make it Thursday? The deals keep coming Friday through Sunday! Participating businesses will be open Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5 pm (check individual businesses for hours).
