Kickoff your Holiday Season in Brookside with the annual Holiday Season Opener event Thursday November 13th through Sunday, November 16th, 2025. Usher in the holiday season with pop-ups, specials, and treats all weekend long and a special visit from Santa, cookies, hot chocolate, a tree lighting, live music and more to kick it all off on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm. It’s a great event and you’re sure to find gifts for yourself and everyone else special in the Brookside Shops this season.
Holiday Season Opener hours (check individual businesses for store hours)
- Thursday –Participating businesses open 10 am - 8 pm; Holiday Kickoff Party 5 to 8 pm - live music, visits from Santa, cookies, cocoa and coffee 5 to 7 pm; and tree lighting at 6 pm (weather permitting). Come early. Stay late. Sip, shop & stroll.
- Friday – 10am - 6 pm
- Saturday – 10am - 6pm; Cookies, Cocoa, & Craft Crawl 10 am to 1 pm. Discover the magic of shopping local as you visit participating Brookside businesses offering delicious treats, cozy cocoa, and creative activities along the way.
- Sunday – noon – 5pm
Promotions kick-off Thursday. Visit participating businesses and restaurants starting Thursday morning at 10 am and running through 8 pm (check businesses for individual hours) for specials and pop-ups at participating stores and restaurants. Then, from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, join Santa for cookies, cocoa and coffee while enjoying live music from heartbeat Studio students from 5 to 6, and the Holiday Trombones quartet from 6 to 7 on the Bank Midwest Plaza next to BKS Nails, 6246 Brookside Plaza. Join a carol or two and then enjoy the tree lighting at 6 pm! (weather permitting)
Join the Cookies, Cocoa & Craft Crawl Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. Visit participating businesses and restaurants starting Saturday morning at 10 am and through 1 pm for cookies, cocoa, crafts and other fun activities and specials happening at participating businesses. Discover the magic of shopping local as you visit participating Brookside businesses offering delicious treats, cozy cocoa, and creative activities along the way.
Can't make it Thursday night or for the Saturday Crawl? The deals keep coming all weekend! Participating businesses will be open Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
