Congratulations to the 2025 parade award winners!

Each year a panel of esteemed judges is selected to designate award winners in the Brookside St. Patrick's Warm-Up Parade. With all the amazing entries in the parade each year, judges have the challenging task of selecting winners in four categories.

  1. Best of Theme - The 2025 theme was “Dreaming of Green.” Entries were encouraged to decorate and use the theme. This award winner Dreams Bigger than anyone else
  2. Spirit Award - Although decorations, synchronization, and style count, this one is all about the enthusiasm that spills over and really puts a smile on your face
  3. Best Music - This award encompasses marching bands, dance teams, drumlines, bagpipes, and more. Brookside is fortunate to have so many great musical acts, but this is for the one stood out above the others
  4. Grand Prize - This award is for the entry that stood out above the rest. Whether it was their performance, decorations, theme, coordination, music, pumping up the crowd, or all the above

Best of Theme – Front Range! Front Range was dreaming big, fueled by giant cups of coffee at the end of their rainbow!

Spirit Award – KC Marching Wildcats Drill Team Dressed in all green, these ladies brought their best and had judges dancing in their seats!

Best Music – KC Celtic Pipes & Drums. The bagpipes, drums and traditional Irish music was a crowd favorite and kept the parade marching along!

And the Grand Prize Goes to...

Livers Bronze Company!Judges were blown away (pun intended) by their Wicked themed entry, live music and costumes including a tornado. It reminded us there’s no place like home (and no place like Brookside)!
