shred event
Ready to get rid of those tax documents, bills, receipts and other documents you’ve been waiting to shred? Join us on Saturday, July 7th! The Brookside Community Improvement District and presenting sponsor Cosentino's Price Chopper invite you to join our safe, secure and FREE annual Brookside Shred Event on Saturday, July 7th from 8 to 11am (or until the truck is full so don't dally). Shred-It will have a paper shredding truck located in the parking lot behind Jalapeno’s, 6318 Brookside Plaza (in the parking lot between Commerce Bank and the tennis courts). Brookside volunteers will be there to great and guide you through the process.

Brookside hosts the annual shred event allowing businesses and neighbors to securely dispose of paper documents, bills and other records for free. Sponsorship makes the event possible by helping fund the cost of the truck & promotion. Thank you again to the Cosentino Food Stores, as well as our supporting sponsors - Reller & Company CPA, World's Window, Innovest Financial Partners, Brookside Barkery & Bath, and The New Dime Store. Together, our sponsors make this event possible (and free). Please be sure to thank them next time you stop in!

What to Bring: Paper documents you’d like securely shred. 2 containers (file boxes or equivalent) per person*. Please don’t bring stiff metal, plastic bags, or items that will jam the shredder. See the link at the bottom of this article for a full list of items that will be accepted.

*Two standard file-sized boxes per person. Standard file-sized boxes are 10" x 12" x 15". Standard grocery sacks will be counted as an equivalent. Equivalents for materials in other storage containers (garbage sacks, tubs, etc.) will be estimated.
