Save the Date for the 37th Brookside Art Annual to be held Friday, May 5th through Sunday, May 7th, 2023. Artist applications for the show are now open! Apply by midnight December 15, 2023 for an early registration discount on jury fees. Applications close at midnight, January 15th! The Brookside Art Annual is Kansas City’s first outdoor art show of the year, attracts a lot of buyers and arts enthusiasts, and is ranked amongst the best in the nation. Apply in one or more of 15 categories to be considered for the show.

Show your appreciation to the women of Brookside during the second annual Women-Owned Weekend (WOW), Thursday, October 6th through Saturday, October 8th. October is National Women’s Small Business month and Brookside is excited to celebrate the many women-owned small businesses that make Brookside so special. Sip & Shop is this Thursday, September 29th from 5 to 7pm! Grab friends and stroll through Brookside, sip wine samples in-store, and shop at local businesses at the 2022 Brookside Sip & Shop. Enjoy a variety of wine samples at participating businesses throughout the historic Brookside Shops for this special shopping and wine tasting event. After the Sip & Shop, grab dinner at participating Brookside restaurants who are offering food and drink specials.
