A diamond in the city for over 100 years, the historic Brookside shops have served the community since 1919. Hundreds of business owners have started their dreams in Brookside and served thousands of customers with a friendly smile and the kind of customer service only a neighbor can provide. Kansas City’s first outdoor art show of the year (and our favorite) is just around the corner. Make plans now to join us as Brookside celebrates the 33rd annual Brookside Art Annual Friday, May 4th through Sunday, May 6th. Show hours are: Friday, May 4th - 5pm-9pm; Saturday, May 5th -10am-9pm; and Sunday, May 6th - 11am-5pm.
Thousand attended one of Kansas City's favorite annual events - the Brookside St. Patrick's Warm-up Parade. Perfect weather, wonderful parade entries and a crowd of green supporters made the 38th annual parade a huge success. Thank you to all that came out to celebrate. All the great parade entries made choosing winners difficult, but we did it!
